The Quantification of Cardiovascular Reactivity in Longitudinal Studies

  • Chapter

Summary

Three methodological issues concerning the quantification of cardiovascular reactivity are presented in this papers (1) the evaluation of change and range scores; (2) the stability of, and (3) the consistency and generalisability of selected cardiovascular measures. Conclusions and recommendations are based primarily on the findings of a recent multivariate laboratory-field study of 58 male students replicated at intervals of three weeks, three months and one year.
