Résumé

Dans le premier chapitre, ont été présentés de multiples agents d’embolisation. La maîtrise de quelques-uns permet de faire face à la majorité des situations rencontrées. Nous préciserons ici les principes généraux communs à toutes les procédures: bilan initial et indication, choix de l’agent d’embolisation, sédation et anesthésie, antibioprophylaxie, suivi post-procédure.
