Abstract
Emissions to the atmosphere from combustion of organic substances represent a substantial contribution of pollutants to the atmosphere. In this section we shall be concerned with emissions from combustion of fuel for space heating, water heating, industrial steam generation, and incineration of solid waste, agricultural burning and fireplace emissions. Combustion of fuel for power generation has been considered previously, and will not be included in the discussion.
