Analytic Renormalization of the σ-Model

  • Chapter

Part of the book series: NATO Advanced Study Institutes Series ((NSSB,volume 5))

Abstract

The renormalization of the σ-model is studied in the scheme of the analytic regularization. It is shown that by using a suitable analytic regularization it is possible to verify the Ward-Takahashi identities at every stage of the computation.
