Abstract

It is clear that diagnostic imaging has improved our knowledge in medical care. Computed tomography (CT) is a most helpful and accurate imaging modality in assessing vascular anatomy. CT has blatant ability in the study of congenital heart disease by evaluating pulmonary arteries and veins and also coronary arteries. The major edge of darkness of CT is the associated radiation exposure, the new techniques that we used in our patients; the dose of exposure was 2–3 millisievert which is half a dose of cosmetic radiation per year.

We hope this book will be highly valuable for cardiologists and imaging subspecialists in the end for the care of patients.
