Abstract
We provide the second endoscopic description of a Listeria mocoytogenes infection in a 30 year-old patient, with a history of ulcerative colitis and treated by azathioprine. Sigmoidoscopy shows circular raised erosions. The outcome was favourable with appropriate antibiotherapy.
It is a rare but potentially severe complication concerning patients with inflammatory bowel disease, treated with immunosuppressors, notably azathioprine.
